After falling into a pool and losing consciousness, Simao awakens. Over 40 years, the pain and redemption in love, friendship, betrayal, and murder spare no one.

Simao has been unconscious in a hospital bed for 40 years. His friends, who once shared carefree youth with him, feel bound by an invisible tether that keeps them connected.
