A Taiwanese opera family of generations sticks together and travels around the island to earn a living. On and off the traveling stage, they taste the flavors of life and experience joys and sorrows. Fearing no hardship, they fight together with resilience, presenting the story of their brilliant lives woven by laughter and tears on and off the stage.
人生親像大舞台，苦齣笑詼攏總來。廟口為家的戲班人生，體現台灣在地的生命情調。世代傳承的歌仔戲家族，同心協力，胼手胝足，為生計四處奔波。他們隨著移動的戲台，嘗盡世態炎涼，歷經悲歡離合，用不畏艱困、破繭突圍的頑強生命力，演繹臺前幕後笑淚交織的精彩人生故事。
